Terms and condition
An access code will be provided before your arrival to access your apartment.
Art. 1- APPLICABLE RULES- LEGAL TREATMENT
The agreement hereby applies according to the articles 1709 and following of the French civil code as well as the article L.324-2 of the code of tourism. This agreement depends on the statute of residence of tourism. Accordingly the legal disposals in terms of
residential lease are not applicable, in particular as to maintaining the site. Therefore the customer needs to have an address used for tax purposes (not in the residence) which means that having a professional or personal address in the residence, is strictly forbidden.
Art. 2- Guarantee of booking- Cancellations
Each confirmation of booking will have to be guaranted with a valid credit card or by a direct payment.
According to the rates or service chosen by the customer, the specific following terms apply :
- Rate for one night : when your register, a guarantee with a valid credit card or direct payment will be required. Payment of the sold upon arrival.
- Rate mid-week and for long journey: any registration will be guaranted with a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the booking. The rest of the amount will be settled upon arrival.
Cancellations of a journey
A cancellation of a journey, less than 24 hours before your arrival, will charged. It will represent 100% of the total amount.
If you have a special request, either for an apartment or for renting a baby cot, we will do our best to satisfy your needs, however those extra services do not constitute a contractual guarantee. If we are unable to satisfy one of your requests, this will not represent a main cause for cancellation or an excuse for a refund or compensation. We remind you that each apartment is limited to a certain number of persons and we will not accept a superior number. We will ask you the exact number of persons and their age.
Art.3 – Terms of payment- arrival procedure
The invoice will be paid immediately. Every stay will be under rules eventually to befall – if this not the case, the general terms according to the Art.8 will be fully applied. :
For every stay, the customer will have to provide the following documents :
- Fill out the arrival form and the authorisation to debit the credit card.
- Give a copy of a valid ID (+ bank account details for companies)
- Settle the rest of the amount of the stay upon arrival- if the total amount of the stay is not registered. (Art.2a)
- Take notice of the inventory / refer to Art.6 “ maintaining the site made available”
Liability- compensation for late payment : If a third person pays for the occupant, the customer occupying the apartment will be entirely responsible for the expenses incurred. In the case that the third person is insolvent the customer occupying the apartment (if he is not able to pay) will be asked to leave the place. The payment for all the services in option will be required upon presentation of the invoice. The credit limit allowed for those services is 150€ all taxes included. For any delay in the payment, the customer will have to pay a supplement representing a monthly interest for the delay of 1.5%.
Means and terms of payment
Credit cards : Visa- Eurocard/ mastercard, Cash, Bank transfer : if the amount is transferred on the bank account before arrival.
Checks are not accepted.
Art.4 –Arrivals- Departures
Check in starts at 4 pm and check out is set before 10 am. The apartments must be released on time and totally clean when you leave. You can arrive before 12 pm and leave your luggage, however you won’t be able to access to the apartment except with our agreement. On the day of departure, we ask our customers to leave the tableware and the kitchen clean, and also to leave the rubbish bag in the apartments. Each apartment is non smoking.
Art.- 5 Rates
The rates are indicated in Euros all taxes included and are posted at the residence. They are set up according to economic conditions and we reserve the right to modify the rates in case of economic or regulatory fluctuations. The rates include the availability of the apartment, the consumption of electricity and water. They do not include: the city tax which is payable on spot and varies according to the district. The deposit (for a stay more than 5 nights), which is 500€, will be asked upon your arrival as a guarantee for the apartment as well as the article 3-3. We will give it back to you either when you leave, or sent by mail one month after your departure. Compensation will be charged if there are any damages. The services in option are not included in the rate.
Art.6 – Maintaining the site made available- Access
A general inventory is available in each apartment. The customer takes the responsibility to verify it and to report any problem, missing or damaged objects within 2 hours after arrival. Upon departure, an inventory will be done with a representative of the residence and will be compared with the initial inventory. All damages caused or care problems will be charged to the customer. The apartments are made available in perfect conditions and the customer will use it with care. The staff from the residence is allowed to enter into the apartments (occupied) for cleaning and security control.
Art. 7 – Length of the stay (anticipated depart – rebooking)
Extension of stay: according to availibility and decision of the residence, the length of stay will be extended, without the obligation of staying in the same apartment at the same rate. In case of acceptance of an extension of stay with a new rate, it will be applied from the signature of the new agreement according to the new period agreed.
Art.8 – Cancellation- refusal of extension
The agreement will be cancelled immediately without any required procedure, at the end of the scheduled date stated in the agreement, or in case of non execution from the customer of one of his obligations, or in case of non respect of the rules or if his behaviour is harmful to the wellness and comfort of the other clients. In this case, the client will immediately leave the place otherwise he will be expelled and if needed the residence will start legal proceedings against the client.
Art.9 Status- liabilities
The agreement hereby depends on the statuts of residence of tourism, the clause of the articles 1952 and following from the French civil code, relative to hotels, do not apply. The residence will not be responsible in case of robbery or damages of your personal belongings in the apartments (a safe is available in each apartment). This liability also applies in the common premises.
Art 10- Pets – Parking
Pets are not allowed in the residence. Any special demand will have to be made upon the arrival and an apartment may be assigned. A public parking is available at 100 m away from the residence. For high standard vehicles, it is possible to rent a box, upon request, at 500 m away from the residence.
Art 11- Choice of residence
In case of litigation, both parties agree that the court competent of jurisdiction will be the one from the residence.
